Before we start in on the Module 2 content, take a few minutes to think about “What’s true for you” and to reflect on your Module 1 group experience by asking yourself the questions below. You might want to write your answers in the “Review. Reflect. Journal.” portion of the Module 1 homework worksheets, in your own personal journal, or wherever you’d like.
– What were you thinking/feeling coming into your group experience?
– What were you thinking/feeling coming out of your group experience? Did any of your thoughts or feelings shift, and if so, how?
– What was your experience with reflections? How did it feel to reflect upon others, and how did it feel when others reflected upon you?
– Did the group experience and/or the reflections increase your level of self-understanding or deepen your grasp on the course content at all? If yes, how? If no, why not? (And what might you try next time that could?)
If you’re taking the “Just the Basics” or the Standard version of the course, reflect on your experience with the content and/or with the drop in “Knowcation Station” sessions you attended. What impacted you? What do you have questions on? How have the material or the community sessions shifted the way you view your career path?
Remember, taking time for reflection and journaling has been proven through research studies to help with many areas of life, including the job search. Don’t dismiss its importance!
Tell me about your Module 1 experience.
